Lena Petrova is the visual editor at Dragon Auto Guide — diagrams and imagery. Every chart on this site is drawn in-house as SVG, and every number in those charts comes from one place: a page already published and approved on this site. She does not chart drafts, estimates or figures still under review. If a diagram needs a number the site has not published, the diagram waits until that number has passed every gate. Her working order is fixed: clarity before decoration.

What does a visual editor do on a documentation site?

Two jobs. She turns published tables into diagrams an owner can read at a glance — the same numbers, in a shape that shows the pattern. And she keeps the media licence register: every image asset gets a licence entry — type, source, licence, pages — recorded before it goes live. No entry, no asset. External images pass a single filter: a documented, provable licence. Dealer photos never pass it. And before anything leaves her desk it is checked visually — overlapping labels, clipped edges, weak contrast — because a diagram that cannot be read is a number that cannot be trusted.

What is she not allowed to do?

• No number without a published page. A diagram cannot introduce a figure — it illustrates the published record and never extends it. A missing number is flagged, not drawn.
• No embedding or publishing her own work. She delivers the finished diagram; other hands place it on the page and put it live.
• No approving her own words. Her alt text and captions pass the editing and language gates like every other sentence on this site.
