Dragon Auto Guide

The English-language reference for owning, maintaining and fixing Chinese-brand cars — MG, Chery, GWM, BYD and Deepal.

Independent. Technical. Evidence-based. Owner-focused — 100+ verified guides across five brands.

Prices, capped-price servicing and warranty terms on these pages are Australian unless the page says otherwise. South Africa and the Gulf have guides of their own, further down.

Every model guide below is built from the same four questions and answers the ones we hold documents for: what the scheduled services cost, which fluids it takes, what commonly goes wrong, and what it costs to run.

And where a factory manual works against the reader — two editions printing different figures, one number standing for two unrelated circuits — we name the trap on the page that carries it instead of quietly picking a side.
