Deepal — Owner Guides
Deepal is Changan’s electric brand, sold in Australia not by the factory but through the independent distributor Inchcape, with deliveries running since December 2024. We cover both models with published handbooks — the S07 SUV and the E07 crossover-ute — from the documents that matter: dated warranty handbooks we archived with checksums, and an official capped-price table published to the cent, fluids included. Vehicle warranty: 7 years / 160,000 km. Seven capped services: $2,963.40 (S07), $2,954.59 (E07 RWD), $3,143.91 (E07 AWD Performance).
Who actually stands behind a Deepal in Australia?
Changan builds the cars; Inchcape — an independent distributor, not a factory subsidiary — imports them and operates deepal.com.au, where the warranty terms and the capped-price program are published. For an owner this matters in one practical way: the warranty and servicing conversation happens with the distributor’s network, and the documents that govern it are the handbook in your glovebox and the published table — both of which we’ve archived.

The S05 is due in the second half of 2026. No handbook has been published for it yet, so it has no guide here — we say so rather than guess.
What stands out in the ownership package?
- 7 years / 160,000 km on the vehicle and 8 years / 240,000 km on the HV battery — with clauses the model pages name one by one: the tool-of-trade trap, the powertrain split, the missing floor.
- A complete capped-price table, published by the brand itself, to the cent — parts, sundries, environmental charges, labour and fluids, seven services per model. For comparison, our BYD service pricing had to be assembled from the authorised dealer network’s published tables; Deepal hands over the full pricing paper on its own site. From a brand in its second year of Australian deliveries, that paper trail is the standout.
- One government recall so far — an E07 child-restraint anchorage recall, March 2026. The E07 page opens with it.

Independent verification: warranty and capped-price servicing pages on the Inchcape-operated deepal.com.au, read 26 August 2026; Australian Government recall record REC-006560 (E07), March 2026.
What we verified ourselves: recomputed all three capped-price totals programmatically from the line items; cross-checked service intervals across the live table, the warranty handbooks and the S07 owner’s manual — the one divergence we found is disclosed on the S07 service page.
