MG ZS (2024–present) Oil Type, Capacity & Fluids

✓ Technically reviewed by Daniel Wei Chen — Senior Chinese Automotive Diagnostics & Repair Specialist, Sydney, Australia · 19 August 2026.

The second-generation MG ZS — petrol and Hybrid+ — uses 0W-20 engine oil meeting ACEA C5 and API SP, with a service-fill capacity of 4.0 litres. That single grade covers all seasons and all UK variants. Every other fluid the car uses is below, per variant, exactly as specified in the official UK owner’s manual (2025 edition).

Market note

These figures are from the UK-market manual. Fluid specs for this generation are typically shared across export markets, but service intervals genuinely differ by market — our ZS service schedule guide (in preparation) covers that separately. First-generation ZS (2017–2024) figures also differ and will be published separately.
