Deepal E07 — Fluids, Capacities & Specifications
The E07 AWD carries two drive units on two different clocks: the front XTDM25’s oil (1.0±0.05 L of Castrol BOT 805C) comes due every 3 years / 60,000 km; the rear XTDM32’s (1.6±0.05 L, same oil) not until 5 years / 100,000 km. A workshop that drains both at every visit is selling oil the schedule doesn’t ask for — that’s the two-clock trap. Both capacities sit in a single printed row, and that row carries a quieter oddity: it is labelled “(DCT)” — a gearbox this car doesn’t have.

Where the interval column still shows a dash — coolant, brake fluid, both air-conditioning rows and washer fluid — neither the fluid table nor the maintenance schedules print a replacement cycle for that item, and we don’t invent one. One refrigerant here, note — unlike the S07’s variant-code split between R134a and R1234yf. And don’t order Deepal coolant by family habit either: the E07 takes 10–11 L of LEC-II-40; the S07 takes 13±0.2 L.
A transcription note, mirrored from the S07 page: four of the fluid names above are set differently in the two books, and we quote each as printed. Two differ only in punctuation and character choice: the coolant reads LEC-II-40 here, with two capital I’s, and LEC-Ⅱ-40 there, with the Roman-numeral character; the air-conditioning gas reads R-134a here and R134a there, a hyphen apart — which is why both spellings appear on this page, the hyphenated one in our table and the plain one where we describe the S07’s split. The other two differ in the characters themselves: brake fluid reads HZY4 here and THZY4 there, and the reducer oil reads Castrol BOT 805C here and Castrol BOT805C EV there. Whether any of those pairs is one product or two, our archived pages don’t say — so we don’t either: order against your own manual’s string, and try the other spelling before concluding a part doesn’t exist.
Why does the front oil come due before the rear? (the two-clock trap)
The manual doesn’t explain the split; it just prints it. What it means at the counter: on an AWD, the front unit’s oil falls due at 60,000 km — the rear’s not until 100,000 km. If your invoice shows both drive units drained on the same day, every time, ask which schedule that follows. It isn’t the printed one. The rear holds 1.6 L to the front’s 1.0, so the pricier drain is also the rarer one — match the interval to the axle, and check the E07 service schedule for where the AWD’s capped-price premium actually lands.
Why does an EV’s manual say “(DCT)”? (a print quirk, quoted as printed)
The E07’s printed fluid table labels the reducer-oil row “(DCT)” — dual-clutch transmission. The E07 is a battery-electric vehicle with single-speed drive units; there is no clutch in it, let alone two. It’s a print quirk in the manual, and we quote it as printed rather than silently tidy it — the capacities printed under that label are the operative data, and they are reducer-oil figures. One structural note, so our table and your manual reconcile: the manual prints one reducer-oil row, not two. Both capacities sit inside it — (XTDM32) 1.6±0.05 L above (XTDM25) 1.0±0.05 L — under a single specification and that single “(DCT)” label. We split it into two rows above because the two units come due on different dates; the document does not split it. The intervals in our table come from elsewhere in the book — the “Daily Maintenance Schedule”, under its E-drive assembly item, which prints every 3 years or 60,000 km for the front unit and every 5 years or 100,000 km for the rear. Capacities in one table, intervals in another: a workshop quoting from the fluid page alone is reading half the instruction.
Why does the rear dome get its own service clock?
The rear dome is the only body item in the fluid table above, and the manual gives it a kind of cycle no fluid row has — an inspection cycle, not a replacement interval: inspect and clean the guide rails every 6 months or 10,000 km, replacing the grease in those rails as necessary. Under severe conditions it halves — every 3 months or 5,000 km — and of the six conditions the manual lists against that row, three are simply using the dome: left open for long-term use, used at high frequency or used at high temperature for long periods. (The other three are the usual severe-duty set: dusty roads, extreme cold and salted roads, repeated short trips in frost.) Use the dome hard and its clock runs twice as fast. This one sits in the manual’s “Daily Maintenance Schedule” for the body — the manual’s name, not ours, for the table that prints this six-month cycle — and that is where it puts owner inspection items. If a rail binds or the dome resists, that is a dealer conversation, not something to force.
Workshop data
| Tyre pressures | 280 kPa all round — with one clause worth reading: sustained running above 160 km/h calls for 290 kPa |
| Tyres | 255/55 R20 · 265/45 R21 |
| Motor output — rated | front XTDM25 (AWD only) 42 kW / 63 N·m · rear XTDM32 130 kW / 150 N·m |
| Motor output — peak | front XTDM25 (AWD only) 188 kW / 280 N·m · rear XTDM32 252 kW / 365 N·m |
| Kerb weight | 2,320 / 2,440 kg |
Two scales, two sets of numbers — the rated-versus-peak mismatch. The headline 188 and 252 kW are peak figures; the same page prints rated outputs of 42 and 130 kW. Neither is wrong, and they are not interchangeable: setting the E07’s peak beside the S07’s rated 60 kW makes the gap look like a class difference. Peak against peak, it is 188/252 against 160.
Primary source: Deepal E07 Owner’s Manual, revised April 2026 edition, retrieved 25 August 2026 — archived (sha256 on record). All values above are transcribed from its fluid and vehicle-data tables, except two sets taken from its maintenance schedules: the reducer-oil intervals, from the E-drive assembly item in the “Daily Maintenance Schedule”, and the rear-dome cycles, from the body section of that same schedule and its severe-conditions counterpart.
Sibling document: Deepal S07 Owner’s Manual, November 2025 edition, retrieved 25 August 2026 — archived (sha256 on record) — consulted for the coolant-volume contrast and the four printed-name comparisons above (brake fluid, reducer oil, coolant and refrigerant), disclosed in the same terms on the S07 fluids page.
What we verified ourselves: quantities, tolerances and unit codes reproduced digit-for-digit from the archived PDF; fluid names quoted as printed, including the HZY4 spelling, the coolant’s two capital I’s, the hyphenated R-134a and the reducer oil’s BOT 805C string; the “(DCT)” row label reproduced as printed rather than corrected; the manual’s single reducer-oil row is presented as two rows above — that split is ours, for clarity, and the document does not make it; motor outputs carry the manual’s own labels, rated or peak; where the archived pages print no change interval, none is invented here.
