Chery E5 Service Schedule & Costs — Australia
Written and edited by Ethan Cole, Editor-in-Chief · ✓ Technically reviewed by Daniel Wei Chen — Senior Chinese Automotive Diagnostics & Repair Specialist, Sydney · 20 August 2026.
The E5 is serviced every 20,000 km or 12 months — and its price pattern alternates: $149 in years 1, 3 and 5; $349 in years 2 and 4; then $582.10 at year six and $174.24 at year seven. Seven-year total: $1,901.34, with coverage to 140,000 km — double the petrol Omoda CVT’s distance for less money. This is the family’s high-mileage bargain.

What the table teaches
- The alternation is the schedule talking: $149 years are inspection services; $349 years add the consumables (typically brake fluid and filters — the itemised checklist isn’t published, and we say so rather than guess).
- Cheapest per kilometre in the brand: ~$136 per 10,000 km of coverage — versus ~$298 for the petrol Omoda CVT. The same EV pattern we documented on the MG4, and the numbers agree across brands.
- The 12-month clock still applies — low-mileage owners service on time, not on distance, and the stamps are your battery-warranty evidence trail.
- Roadside assistance renews with each scheduled service — skipping one quietly ends it.
