GWM Haval H6 — Owner’s Guide

Written and edited by Ethan Cole, Editor-in-Chief · ✓ Technically reviewed by Daniel Wei Chen — Senior Chinese Automotive Diagnostics & Repair Specialist, Sydney · 20 August 2026.

The H6 is GWM’s volume mid-size SUV, sold here as GEN3 petrol (2WD and 4WD) and HEV, with the New H6 and H6 GT carrying their own sheets. Two ownership facts stand out from the official documents: the 4WD carries three extra drivetrain oils on their own change rhythms (its service bill diverges from 40,000 km), and — as across GWM — your prices are set by first-registration date, not badge. Details on the schedule page.

From GWM Australia’s official CPS documents (archived 20 August 2026). The eligibility-window rule applies to the H6 exactly as to the Jolion: 1 month/2,000 km early to 3 months/3,000 km late, or the program is void.

No oil grade is named anywhere in GWM’s service documents — a fluids guide follows when official fluid data is secured. We say so rather than guess.
